Upholstery Cleaning

upholstery cleaningHad A Look At Your Upholstery Lately?

As a general guideline, we recommend sofa cleaning,  and other fabric upholstery cleaning at least once every 6-12 months. This is especially important if you have allergy or asthma sufferer’s in the home.

Cleaning your upholstered furniture on a regular basis is not only important for maintaining it’s looks, it’s just as important for the entire health of your home!!

Dust, pet dander, body oils, dead skin cells, drink spills and more can accumulate faster than you may realize. This increased the level of dust-mites that will thrive in your furniture and will cause the fabric to age much more rapidly .

The time between cleanings will vary depending  on usage within your individual environment. Of Course, if you  are a pet owner and have kid’s at home, soil will most likely collect much more rapidly. Fabric and color-choices come into play here as well.

Knowing how to clean a particular type of fabric is key to providing a clean and undamaged upholstery piece.  After testing the fabric for colorfastness, we will determine exactly how your piece should be cleaned. With so many different fabrics out there you just can’t expect to use one cleaning method for every fabric type. Augmenting the cleaning is necessary for each piece, this way we have complete control of the cleaning process and can maximize soil removal and provide you with the best results possible.

Step 5: Pre-spot
Difficult spots are pre-treated with specialized solutions to increase chances of removal.

Step 6: Agitate

Step 7: Extract
The upholstery is then thoroughly rinsed using our powerful extraction cleaning system that removes the soil without over wetting the fabric.

A pH balanced neutralizer is added to the rinsing process to eliminate any chance of sticky residues or resoiling. This also leaves your furniture soft and fresh.
